13 Bridges Challenge 2026

I am taking part in 13 Bridges Challenge in support of SSAFA

I am taking part in 13 Bridges Challenge in support of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. On 27th June 2026 I will be walking 10-mile's across 13 iconic bridges in London, to celebrate National Armed Forces Day and raise vital funds to support our Armed Forces Community.

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity is a trusted source of support for serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need. In 2024 our trained teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 50,000 people, including veterans, serving personnel (regulars and reserves) and their families.

SSAFA understands that behind every uniform is a person. And we are here for that person and their family, any time they need us and in any way they need us.

My Updates

Every Step Is Sponsored by Someone Who Believes in This Mission!

Monday 18th May

To everyone who has already sponsored me — thank you.

Your support genuinely means more than a donation amount on a page. It’s encouragement, accountability, belief, and momentum every time I lace up my trainers, show up tired, or keep going when life gets busy.

And yes… this post is also proof that I’m doing the work too 😂

Training is happening.
Nutrition is happening
The sore legs are definitely happening.

But more importantly, this journey has become bigger than the event itself.

What started as “Can I do this?” has become:

  • showing up consistently,
  • pushing beyond comfort zones,
  • building resilience,
  • and raising support for something that truly matters.

There’s something powerful about people coming together — each person contributing what they can — and collectively creating impact that none of us could create alone.

What Your Sponsorship Really Does

Every sponsorship:

  • helps keep motivation high on the difficult days,
  • supports an important cause,
  • and reminds me that this challenge is connected to a bigger purpose.

Whether you sponsor £5, £50, or simply share the page with others, it all matters.

Sometimes people think small donations don’t make a difference.

They do.

Because fundraising is rarely about one giant gesture — it’s about many people deciding to care.

A Little Training Update 👟

Progress report:

  • Training sessions are increasing
  • Endurance is improving
  • Recovery days are becoming essential 😅
  • Determination remains fully intact

I’m learning that discipline isn’t about perfection. It’s about continuing even when motivation fluctuates.

And honestly, knowing people are following the journey keeps me accountable too — so thank you for cheering me on.

If You’ve Been Meaning to Sponsor…

This is your sign 😊

If you’ve been watching quietly from the sidelines and thinking:

“I’ll donate later…”

I’d love your support today.

Every contribution helps move this goal forward and means a huge amount personally.

And if sponsoring isn’t possible right now, sharing the page with friends, family, or colleagues is just as appreciated.

Thank you again for every message, donation, share, and word of encouragement.

I’ll keep training.
You keep cheering.

And together we’ll get this done 💛
