I am taking part in 13 Bridges Challenge in support of SSAFA

On 27 June 2026, I’ll be lacing up my boots and taking on London’s 13 Bridges Walk—a 10‑mile journey across some of the city’s most iconic river crossings. I’m walking to celebrate National Armed Forces Day and to raise vital funds for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
As someone who works for SSAFA, I see every day how much our support means to the serving community, veterans, and their families. Behind every uniform is a person—someone with a story, challenges, hopes, and loved ones. And SSAFA is here for that person whenever they need us and in whatever way they need us.
In 2024, our dedicated teams of volunteers and employees supported more than 50,000 people—from serving personnel (regulars and reserves) to veterans and their families. That’s the impact your donations help make possible.
This walk is my way of giving back to the community I’m proud to serve. Every step is for the people who’ve served our nation with pride, courage, and commitment.
If you’re able to support my walk or share the message, it would mean the world—not just to me, but to the Armed Forces community who rely on SSAFA in their time of need.

Good luck Claire
