I am taking part in 13 Bridges Challenge in support of SSAFA
I am taking part in 13 Bridges Challenge in support of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity. On 27th June 2026 I will be walking 10-mile's across 13 iconic bridges in London, to celebrate National Armed Forces Day and raise vital funds to support our Armed Forces Community.
SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity is a trusted source of support for serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need. In 2024 our trained teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 50,000 people, including veterans, serving personnel (regulars and reserves) and their families.
SSAFA understands that behind every uniform is a person. And we are here for that person and their family, any time they need us and in any way they need us.

Vikings on the 13 Bridges Challenge – Supporting SSAFA!
On 27 June 2026, Scott, Ross, and the fearless Navis crew will again set out on an epic adventure across London tackling the 13 Bridges Challenge, a 10‑mile journey across some of the capital’s most iconic river crossings.
But this isn’t just any walk… This year, we’re doing it Viking‑style!
That’s right — in honour of the Vikings who occupied London in 871–872 AD, our team will be marching across the bridges dressed as Norse warriors, complete with Viking helmets, and with longboat‑style wheelchairs.(So, if you spot a longboat rolling past the Thames, don’t worry — it’s just us!!!)
You may remember last year, Ross completed this challenge dressed as a Roman in a Roman chariot — and raised £8,900 shared between two charities SSAFA and This is Us based in Kent.
This year, we are raising funds just for SSAFA and we’re levelling up with an even bolder theme. From Romans to Vikings… who knows what era we’ll conquer next?
Please support us with a donation on our SSAFA pages to help raise vital funds for SSAFA and celebrate National Armed Forces Day.
SSAFA is a trusted lifeline for serving personnel, veterans, and their families in their times of need. SSAFA provides emotional, financial, and practical support to the Armed Forces community.
