From Royal Navy service to Giving Back: A Veteran's Journey of Duty, Resilience and Hope

As a former serviceman I have always believed in the importance of duty and supporting those who serve. That's why I am proudly taking part in the 13 Bridges Challenge - not just to help serving personnel and fellow veterans, but to give back to everyone in our community who needs support.

Recently, our four-month-old son Noah fought and overcame a life-threatening congenital diaphragmatic hernia. His incredible recovery has profoundly changed my prospective on life, gratitude, and what truly matters. Going through such a frightening experience as a family has reinforced my desire to help others in their times of need.

It feels incredibly rewarding to be able to give something back, whether through fundraising, raising awareness, or simply standing shoulder-to-shoulder with those who continue to serve or have served before me.
