I'm taking on the Naples to Monte Cassino and back again Cycle for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity!
I am taking part in the Naples to Monte Cassino Cycle in support of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity on 1st-5th October 2026.
SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity is a trusted source of support for serving personnel, veterans and their families in their time of need. In 2024 their trained teams of volunteers and employees helped more than 50,000 people, including veterans, serving personnel (regulars and reserves) and their families.
SSAFA understands that behind every uniform is a person. And they are here for that person and their family, any time they need us and in any way they need us.
Having serviced in our armed forces I understand all too well the importance of knowing that someone has your back and that they are there for you when you need help.
The work undertaken by SSAFA is incredibly important, more so now with past conflicts and with what is going on around the world today. Our armed forces have the role of keeping us safe and always being there for us when we need them.
Our job is to support them when they are in need and helping them to overcome the obstacles in their way.
