I'm taking on the Naples to Monte Cassino Cycle for SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity!
This October, I will be taking part in the SSAFA Ride to Monte Cassino a 3-day, 215-mile endurance road event in aid of the Armed Forces charity.
This represents an immense personal milestone. Following severe injuries last year, I am still in active rehabilitation for a broken collarbone on one side and a fully reconstructed AC joint on the other. Moving from an almost three-month medical absence straight and continued rehabilitation into a multi-day European cycling challenge is daunting and I am aprehansive, but the cause makes every mile worth it.
Please help me get to my Fundraising Deadlines:
- £700 required by 31st August
- £400 required by 30th September
Why SSAFA?
In 2024 alone, SSAFA’s trained teams assisted more than 50,000 regulars, reserves, veterans, and their families. They ensure that our military community never faces hardship, isolation, or illness alone.
Please consider supporting my journey and this truly remarkable charity by donating to my page.
With gratitude,
Adrian
